The real test came toward the end of the stage when the harsh road conditions and obstacles to navigation forced the team to go off course twice and even experience the minor fall, into the road ditch,
With the help of other participants the Dessert Warrior was restored on track, however the team lost two hours of time and certain damages were sustained to the front part of the vehicle.
Facing immense risks and challenges, the pilots went on with driving to cross the Day 3 finish line at the 49th position overall, slowly but surely climbing up in the table.
Over the night the mechanics performed an awful load of work in order to repair the vehicle and make it up and ready for the next day of the rally that will see the team make their way from San Salvador De Jujuy to the town of Tupiza in Bolivia, the path that will now lay entirely through the rocky highland terrain,
