4 days left until The Dakar Rally 2017 starts. Team en route to Asuncion

28th of December for the team was marked by a 1,200 kilometre drive from Buenos Aires to Santa Fe and then across the Argentina-Paraguay borderline to Asuncion. Autolife Dakar.Team left Buenos-Aires at noon (local time UTC -3) yesterday and is expected to arrive to the capital of Paraguay later tonight (local time UTC-4). At the moment, the team consists of three vehicles: The Dessert Warrior Rally Car – the principle automobile for the race, Mercedes-Benz All Terrain Support Truck – workshop on wheels designated to carry mechanics, spear parts and all the additional equipment and Toyota Hilux – press-carrying vehicle where the team manager, journalist and photographer will travel throughout the race.

All crew members seem to be in good mood and the captain and principal pilot of the team Mr. Roman Starikovich stated, that “it would be a difficult competition but everyone here is more than ready and qualified to go all the way”.

The Dakar Rally 2017 will start on the 2nd of January in Asuncion, the capital of Paraguay.
